Argentine forward, Angel Di Maria, has blamed the 'complications' between him and coach Louis van Gaal for his failed spell at Manchester United.
Di Maria was a surprise £59.7 million signing from Real Madrid in 2014 but he spent just one season at Old Trafford before joining Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine scored just four goals during his time at United and failed to secure a regular place in the team under Van Gaal.
And the 30-year-old, who is in line to face United in PSG's Champions League clash next month, admits his 'complications' with the Dutchman hindered his time at Old Trafford.
"Manchester have changed with their new coach, they haven't lost a match,' Di Maria told France Bleu.
"But we must think of ourselves and nothing but ourselves. If we do things well, everything will be fine.
"I only stayed one year [at United], it was not the best time of my career, or rather I was not allowed to spend my best time.
"There were complications with the coach at the time. But thank God, I was able to come to PSG and demonstrate again who I was."
