Tottenham Hotspur have provided latest update on the injury suffered by striker, Harry Kane.
The 25-year-old injured his ankle ligaments at the end of Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League encounter after a collision with Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof.
The England international limped off the Wembley pitch very gingerly.
However, Tottenham released a statement on Tuesday evening through their official Twitter page, @SpursOfficial, to confirm that Kane is expected to return to training in March.
"Following preliminary assessments, we can confirm that Harry Kane has damaged ligaments in his left ankle, sustained during Sunday's match," the statement read.
"He will continue to be monitored by our medical staff as he commences rehabilitation and is expected to return to training in early March."
With this development, Kane will be missing Spurs' clash with Fulham, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Watford, Newcastle, Leicester, Dortmund, Burnley, Chelsea, Arsenal and Dortmund.
