Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp has named Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson as the player who has surprised him this season in their campaign in all competitions.
The Reds are currently topping the Premier League standings and have not lost any game this season as they are also in the knock out stage of the Champions League.
After Liverpool's Champions League defeat against Real Madrid in Kiev, the Reds signed Alisson making him the most expensive shot-stopper in the world.
Alisson settled in quickly at Anfield, and has done an incredible job of shoring up the Reds' defense alongside the talented back four.
"Well, maybe that Alisson is such a good football player.
"It was always very clear that he was a very influential player with the ball, but that he's this good I didn't see it, honestly - maybe because of a different style Roma played.
"That was a little bit of a surprise, and a very nice surprise,'' Klopp explained to ESPN Brasil when asked about the player who has surprised him.
