Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes the pair of Romelu
Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez need to look to Paul
Pogba as an example and take responsibility for
lifting up Manchester United performance.
Lukaku was granted compassionate leave by his
club and has been absent from duties while
Alexis Sanchez picked up a hamstring injury
back in November.
"It's up to them when they get a chance. That's the
name of the game as a footballer, you've got to do it
yourself," he said.
Solskjaer said he had faith in the two players and
they were at the club because they were quality
players and all they now had to do was enjoy
playing for Manchester United.
"They are here for a reason, they're good players and
it's u to them to use their imagination and creativity
and just enjoy playing for this club, that's the best time
of your life," Solskjaer said.
And their interim manager now wants them to
copy Pogba's turnaround, having scored two
goals in his last two games.
"The attitude has been perfect and that's key, you
should be tired towards the end of every single game.Pogba's been top class and we're looking to build a
team around him, of course, but there are so many
quality players" he said.
And above scoring goals the World Cup winner is
clearly a driving force in shaping the mentality
of players around him, tirelessly marshaling
United's mid and pushing his team forward.
