Big trouble for Arsenal as another key player has been ruled out for 6 weeks

Arsenal have confirmed that several key players will be missing in the grueling three-game fixtures from Boxing Day into the New Year.

The have been scheduled to take on Brighton on Wednesday, December 26, at the American Express Stadium.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is out with a right-foot injury and a fractured metatarsal in the Carabao Cup defeat to Tottenham and is expected to remain on the sidelines for up to six weeks.

Right-back Hector Bellerin is still out with a calf injury since the loss to Southampton but he is expected to be back in the next two weeks
Nacho Monreal will be assessed ahead of the Brighton's game after his right hamstring injury against the Saints.

German international Shkodran Mustafi is also facing hamstring problems but will return to full training this week.

Unai Emery's side came back winning ways after their 2-game unbeaten streak in all competitions was halted by Southampton at St. Mary's where they lost by 3-2.

The north London club were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup by neighbors Tottenham but got the better of Burnley at the Emirates by 3-1 as they got they Premier League ambition back on track.

The Emirates outfit are now level on points with Chelsea in fourth position, who were beaten at Stamford Bridge by Leicester City.
