Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has showered encomiums of the duo of Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford ahead of this weekend's clash against Fulham.
The Portuguese tactician who is underfire at Old Trafford owing to his side's struggles in the league claims the two stars risks everything to give their best to the club.
He insisted that unlike others, they do not care about getting injured, but that they would go all out to ensure the Red Devils achieve results.
Mourinho made a lot of changes to his side that faced Arsenal in midweek's encounter against Arsenal - where they came from behind twice to draw the game.
Half fit Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly returned to the match day squad in a match they almost conceded to the Gunners at Old Trafford.
After the match, the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss said he was proud of his players but in Friday's press conference he named two in particular.
"You know there are special players with special characteristics, " said the Portuguese.
"Just to give you a couple of examples, Herrera, Rashford, they are the kind of players that even if their game was not phenomenal, that intensity, that desire, that passion, that sacrifice is always present .
"But I prefer to say the team, as a team, had that mentality and we have to transport it to this game. "
Mourinho also gave an update on Fred, who has so far failed to live up to his hefty price tag.
"Step by step ," explained Mourinho. " You have other players at other clubs who needed time and some of them played even less than Fred .
"I think Fred, when the team is defensively stronger and doesn't need in midfield people that are more worried in giving some balance to the team than being involved in creation and the attacking dynamic, the day we are stronger defensively, I think the horizons for Fred change completely. "
