Chelsea star player, Eden Hazard has said that he would be happy to become the club's captain.
The 28-year-old stated this ahead of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City on Saturday.
The Belgium international, however, admitted that there are other more deserving candidates in Maurizio Sarri's squad to captain the Bleus.
Speaking to Sky Sports about potentially taking over the captain's armband, Hazard said:
"Yes, I don't want to say no of course.
"I mean outside football I always try to give everything for the fans, like in interviews I try to be an example, so if I'm the captain I would be happy."
"But I think some of the players deserve more to be captain than me."
Hazard, who has less than two years in his Chelsea's contract, is yet to sign new deal at Stamford Bridge.
