Super Eagles superstar Leon Balogun opened his Premier League goal account with Brighton and Hove Albion in their 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
The 30-year-old slammed a volley into the net in the 31st minute after Solly March's corner kick was nodded out by the opponent's defenders.
His goal came seven minutes after Glenn Murray opened scoring for the Seagulls through the spot kick in the 24th minute.
Florin Andone sealed the victory for the hosts on the stroke of half time to claim their sixth victory of the season.
Balogun has made four English topflight appearances since he joined the EPL side this summer from German League side Mainz O5.
Brighton were reduced to ten men as early as 28th minute after Shane Duffy was handed straight red card but that didn't deter them from winning the game.
According to stats, Balogun's goal came just 25 seconds into his introduction after replacing Pascal Gross in the 31st minute.
They are now tenth on the log with 21 points from 15 matches - losing six matches and drawing three so far.
