Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino has singled out defender, Juan Foyth for praise following his side's 4-2 defeat to Arsenal in Sunday's Premier League encounter.
Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira ensured victory for Unai Emery's side at Emirates.
However, Eric Dier and Harry Kane did score for the visitors.
Pochettino said he was happy with Foyth's display against the Gunners, adding that the Argentine international was fantastic.
"Foyth's performance was very good," Metro UK quoted Pochettino as saying after the match.
"Of course he failed in this instance but he was great in the game, fantastic. I'm so happy with him.
"I'm not going to focus on him. The team was good in general. It was a very competitive game.
"Arsenal had a lot of energy but the game was even until the third goal. It was tough to come back again."
Pochettino's side will now tackle Southampton on Wednesday night at home in the Premier League fixture.
