Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was caught on camera heading to the Citizens training session in a £28,000 Nissan Leaf electric vehicle.
According to a UK report, the Spaniard, who currently earns about £12m as annual salary prefers driving the small car to other bigger brands since arriving at Etihad.
Previously, the former Barcelona was spotted cruising in a £200,000 Bentley Flying Spur, but these days he moves around by the Leaf-coloured electric car handed to him by the club sponsors.
Reacting about the 47-year-old tactician preference, a club insider claimed that during his spell at Camp Nou, Guardiola ensured players drove sponsored Audis to training.
"He must have taken inspiration from Peter Kay's Car Share show."
In a related development, Man United ace Paul Pogba has splashed out £250,000 on a Ferrari 812 Superfast, weeks after being sanctioned for over speeding.
The yellow motor, top speed 211mph, was parked outside his Cheshire home on Friday.
