N'Golo Kante has agreed a new five-year deal with Chelsea worth around £300,000-a-week.
The Frenchman has been in discussions with the club over a new deal for over six months and the Blues have made it clear they're willing to make the midfielder one of their highest paid players.
Kante was crowned PFA player of the year in his first year at Stamford Bridge after guiding the Blues to the title under Antonio Conte.
The midfielder still has three years to run on his existing deal but Chelsea feel his value has rocketed since joining the club and want him to feel appreciated.
Kante has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain but the Telegraph claim he's on the verge of a new deal at Chelsea after agreeing to sign their proposal.
The report claims the deal has to go through the club's lawyers but is agreed in principle and will be announced in due course.
Kante's new deal is said to be five years in length, taking him to the age of 32 by the time it expires in 2022.
Though Kante's position has changed under Maurizio Sarri the Frenchman remains happy at Stamford Bridge and his renewal could encourage the likes of Eden Hazard to stay put.
