Derby County boss, Frank Lampard has given verdict on Aston Villa assistant manager, John Terry's coaching career.
Lampard, a former team mate with Terry at Chelsea, believes the former defender would be a top and a successful manager.
The ex-midfield maestro stated this ahead of his side's Championship clash with Aston Villa on Saturday at home.
"It's the start of John's next career and I'm sure it will be a success," Mirror UK quoted Lampard as saying.
"He's got all the attributes to be a top coach and, one day, a top manager. I think he will bring a lot to Aston Villa."
Lampard added: "Aston Villa have lots of threats individually and collectively, so we need to appreciate what is in front of us.
"They (Villa) will want to play good, attacking football. Once he (Smith) gets his ideas across, I think they will be challenging
"But if we prepare right, I think we can win a lot of games, as we have shown. We've managed to be more consistent of late."
