Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has hailed his side's 2-1 win over Juventus, in their Champions League Group H game on Wednesday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened scoring in the second half, before Juan Mata's free-kick and an Alex Sandro own goal, sealed an important victory for United.
"The game was a very good game, a high level game. We performed at a high level and after their goal we had five minutes to wake up again but the team was there from the first minute until the last.
"We had to come and not feel inferior. Everyone knows they have a different profile than us but we need to play until the last second of the last match. They are strong and have phenomenal players. The player that made that beautiful pass was a central defender.
"It's a big victory for us, not just because of the points but because we beat a very good team.
"We know we now have one final against Young Boys. I now leave it to the Old Trafford people. Hopefully we aren't late to the stadium. We had a fantastic escort tonight, thank you to the Italian police."
Mourinho also explained why he cupped his ears towards the home fans at the final whistle.
"In beautiful Italian they insulted me for 90 minutes, I didn't insult them but the millions of Interisti are happy with me. I respect Juventus," he said.
