Real Madrid stars, Marcelo and Isco Alarcon, have been blamed for contributing to the sack of manager Julen Lopetegui.
Lopetegui was dismissed on Monday evening after just four months on his appointment as Zinedine Zidane's successor.
He was sacked after Los Blancos were hammered 5-1 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
However, the director of Spanish newspaper, Ok Diario, Eduardo Inda has now opened up on the mess at the Bernabeu.
According to him, Marcelo and Isco's fitness contributed to the problems at the Bernabeu.
"Two players' physical condition worries [the club]," Eduardo told Ok Diario
"One of them is Marcelo because they say he is three kilos overweight.
"Isco Alarcon is also worrying them.
"In any case, Marcelo has been discussed but he was the best Real Madrid player in the Clasico."
It is claimed that despite axing Lopetegui, Real Madrid have concerns over the fitness of both Marcelo and Isco.
He continued, "Two players' physical condition worries [the club].
"One of them is Marcelo because they say he is three kilos overweight.
"Isco Alarcon is also worrying them.
"In any case, Marcelo has been discussed but he was the best Real Madrid player in the Clasico."
