Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has appeared in public for the first time since breaking his arm in a La Liga match against Sevilla.
The Argentine talisman has been ruled out for three weeks after fracturing his arm in the 4-2 over the visitors.
The 31-year-old wore a sling to protect the problem area after hanging with his wife Antonella Ruccozzo as well as teammate Luiz Suarez and Phillipe Coutinho.
And now Messi is set to miss Barca's Champions League midweek clash with Inter, the ElClasico with rivals Real Madrid and the return leg with the San Siro club.
Messi was substituted when the incident occurred in the match and was immediately taken to a medical center and the club were hopeful the injury was nothing more than a 'hyper-extension' around his right elbow.
However, the results of the scan revealed his arm was fractured which could potentially see him miss six games.
Messi has been at his best this season scoring 12 goals in all competitions, more than double of Ousman Dembele's five.
The responsibility of the team will now be shouldered by Suarez, Coutinho and Dembele when they host the Italian outfit at the Nou Camp this Wednesday.
