Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has explained that he is not sure if his wards are ready to win the Champions League title this season.
The Citizens who are the reigning Premier League champions have never gone beyond the Champions League semifinal since the creation of the club.
This season, Manchester City started their campaign in the Champions League with a defeat against Lyon, although they won their second game and are now second in Group F with 3 points
Pep Guardiola is among the most decorated managers in the history of the Champions League as the 47-year-old has won the title three times during his reign at Barcelona.
"If we are favorites, then it means we are good, really good.
"But the best the club has done is a semi-final and I don't know if we are ready, to be honest. When you believe you can win, then you have to do it.
"AC Milan, who will soon return to the Champions League, have won it seven times.
"The favorites are the clubs with a bigger history and tradition than us. Real Madrid and Barcelona and also Juventus have been to the final twice recently and are getting closer every time,'' Pep Guardiola said according to Mirror UK.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are the current holders of the Champions League title after beating Liverpool in the final in Kiev.
