Check out the 4 important reasons that helped Super Eagles to condemn Libya in Uyo

Super Eagles on Saturday evening, October 13, recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory over Libya in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying match played at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
The victory restored the hopes of the Super Eagles to qualify for the next AFCON after missing the last two editions as they now occupy second in Group E with six points after three games.
Saturday's condemnation against the Super Eagles was Libya's first defeat in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers as they won their first game against Seychelles and drew away at South Africa.

Here we bring you four points that condemned Libya to a defeat in Uyo.

1. Early goal

The early goal Libya conceded against the Super Eagles in Uyo destabilized them in the match and goalkeeper Mohamed Abdaula would have himself to blame for his gaffe which forced the referee to give Nigeria a penalty and scored by Odion Ighalo.

2. Crisis in Libya's team

Four days before their game against the Super Eagles, Adel Amrouche resigned his position as the head coach of the Libyan national team in which his decision forced the Libyan Football Federation to replace him with Omar Al-Miryami who did not understand the tactics he should have used against Nigeria.
Some of the new manager's subs were unhappy with the once that replaced them as they exchanged words but the coach played down their complaints during the post match.

3. Determination

Super Eagles were determined to win this match because of the fact that they missed the last two editions of the African Cup of Nations and also how they lost their last home game in the AFCON qualifier against South Africa.

They used the game against Libya to redeem themselves in the eyes of many fans who were livid with their last home result.

4. Odion Ighalo's form

Odion Ighalo scored a hat-trick against Libya on Saturday as he was in best form of his life in Uyo to the delight of many fans, but he must also thank his teammates most especially Iwobi and Ahmed Musa who gave him the passes.
Many fans were livid with Ighalo because of his poor performance against Argentina in the 2018 World Cup, but he has been forgiven by some after his hat-trick against Libya.
