Manchester United came back from two goals down to beat Newcastle United in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 6.
Early goals from Kennedy and Yoshinori Muto but three second half goals from Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez saved the Red Devils blushes in the game.
However, the victory is not enough to help the Portuguese tactician avoid sack owing to series of negative events at Old Trafford.
According to SunSport, the former Chelsea boss has been tipped at odds 4/6 despite the winless streak coming to an end.
The publication claims Newcastle victory has done nothing but postpone the manager's dooms day.
Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: " United's last gasp win over Newcastle on Saturday has seen Mourinho's odds of being first PL manager sacked drift slightly .
"But he's still the odds-on 4/6 favourite on the Sack Race market and surely glad for the international break this weekend to regather somewhat .
"Neil Warnock is now 7/1 to go first with Cardiff still without a win this season, while Rafa Benitez is just behind at 15/2 with that loss at Old Trafford surely a huge blow as Newcastle also search for their first win of the season. "
It's no surprise Warnock and Benitez are close behind Mourinho considering Cardiff and Newcastle are both winless still in the league.
The only other team yet to win a match in the top flight are Huddersfield, but David Wagner seems relatively safe at 22/1.
