The relationship between Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique at Barcelona is reportedly on an all time low this season after the last two games played by the reigning Spanish champions.
Having drawn against Girona, last week Barcelona were beaten by lowly rated Leganes which was their first defeat this season in La Liga.
And in their last game, the Catalan giants were held 1-1 by Athletic Bilbao at Camp Nou in which Lionel Messi only came on in the second half and was unable to net the winning goal.
Lionel Messi has not spoken about their last two games, and according to the report by UK Mirror, Gerard Pique is unhappy with the situation.
The report added that Gerard Pique criticized Messi for not facing the media about the club in Barcelona but only when he is in Argentina.
Messi's response according to the report was to attack Barcelona's defense stating that they are conceding too many goals this season.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are preparing for the next Champions League game against Premier League club Tottenham at the Wembley stadium.
