Liverpool are now said to be ready to go back for the signing of Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey when the January 2019 transfer window opens.
The Reds tried to sign the player during the last summer transfer, but the Gunners refused to do any business with their Premier League rivals.
And according to the latest report by Mirror UK, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is still interested in signing Ramsey and will lead the chase next year.
Aaron Ramsey's current deal at Arsenal will expire at the end of the ongoing Premier League season, and the Gunners could lose him for free unless they sell him in January.
Italian champions Juventus are watching the situation closely, while outgoing Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis will recommend that his new club AC Milan should step in.
Ramsey moved to Arsenal in 2008 in a £5 million deal, where he quickly gained first-team experience.
However, his career stalled significantly after he suffered a broken leg in a match against Stoke City in February 2010.
