Manchester United players are reportedly expecting Jose Mourinho to be sacked by the club's chiefs this week after their disappointing defeat against West Ham United in the EPL.
United's defeat against West Ham was the club's worst loss in 29 years, and according to the report by Dailymail, Jose Mourinho is expected to face the consequence.
Last season, Manchester United failed to win any title, and this term, they are already nine points adrift of Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
On Saturday, club legends Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand slammed both team and boss following yesterday's 3-1 defeat with Mourinho's time looking near to an end.
Ferdinand said: "I don't see enough players working hard to say to the manager 'this is my place in the team'.
"You've got to work hard and grind and Man United didn't. There are some big decisions to be made at United now.
"There will be conversations at the top level, about the future of the manager and the squad, because the basics are not being done.
"There has to be something said. I believe powers be at this football club have a decision to make.
"It's getting too much. All the little wars in the dressing room, the stories leaking out in the press. This could be the worst season in the club's history if something doesn't change - and fast,''.
