Eden Hazard tells Daniel Sturridge to continue goalscoring streak against Manchester City

Eden Hazard urged Daniel Sturridge to continue his goalscoring hot-streak against Manchester City when Liverpool play the Sky Blues next weekend.

Sturridge came off the bench to score a stunning equaliser against Chelsea, and deny Hazard's team all three points in a fascinating encounter at Stamford Bridge.

The game was billed as an important fixture in the Premier title race, and Liverpool did well to fight back from going behind.

Hazard and Sturridge were in fine form, and the Chelsea star approached his former teammate in the tunnel after the game.

'Great goal...just make sure you do it again next weekend,' Hazard was reported to have said to Sturridge by BT Sport reporter Des Kelly.

Hazard put Chelsea in front in another star performance from the Belgian, following up with the winner he scored against Liverpool during the mid-week fixture in the Carabao Cup at Anfield.

Sturridge too scored in that game, and Hazard added to his praise for his rival speaking to the BBC.

He said: 'I said to him the goal wasn't bad, to be fair. He scored twice. One Wednesday, one today like me. Maybe he try to be like me.

'But no he is a great, great player. I had a chance to play with him a bit at Chelsea. And I know he is a fantastic player.

'He had a lot of injuries in the last few years but when he is on the pitch he can create goals like this. I am happy for him but not happy for Chelsea'
