Manchester United star Paul Pogba has lost his diamond earring in training, summing up a bad week for the midfielder.
The World Cup winner who has been involved in a row with Jose Mourinho in the last few days is believed to have alerted staff at Carrington to the ring's disappearance on Tuesday.
According to the Sun, 25 persons conducted a search around the Carrington ground in search for the diamond jewel.
It is now understood that the 25-year-old has offered a cash reward for anyone who finds the jewel around the Carrington ground.
The Frenchman took to his social media page to respond with an emoji in a selfie on his Instagram earlier in the week.
The midfielder responded to the loss of the earring by replacing it with an emoji one in a selfie on his Instagram Story earlier this week.
The earring's disappearance, getting stripped of United's captaincy for the Derby game and a frosty exchange with manager Mourinho wraps up a challenging week for Pogba.
He had criticised Mourinho's defensive tactics following the 1-1 draw with Wolves at Old Trafford, preferring that they should have been more offensive.
Now it is left in the hands of the Portuguese manager to pick Pogba in his starting XI when they travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham on Saturday.
