Daniel Sturridge, who was on loan for the whole of last season at Westbrom has been in the news for the wrong reason. Fans have been calling out the English man for failing to put away this goal scoring chance in the early minute of their match against Chelsea yesterday.
With the scores leveled at 0-0, the striker received a pass from one the Blues defender who thought he was passing to the keeper, he rounded the goalkeeper off and with the net wide open, he played the ball out of play.
They went on to lose the match 2-1 to Chelsea.
Their fans could not hide their displeasure and have been on social media lashing at the striker.
