Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric was crowned the best player in the world on Monday night in an event staged in London.
The midfielder beat former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah to win the third edition of the Best FIFA Football Awards
He also beat his competitors to win the UEFA best player of the year following his superb performance for Los Blancos in the year in review
