Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has been crowned the FIFA best goal of the season.
The Egyptian forward beat competition from Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and nine other contenders in the category.
He polled 38 percent of the entire votes to win the prestigious prize after his curling left-footed shot ended high inside the far corner of Jordan Pickford's net.
A goal was not just aesthetically pleasing, but hugely important, helping the red half of Merseyside claim a point in a 1-1 draw against their bitter rivals.
His goal also beat Lionel Messi's strike against Nigeria at the World Cup, Russia's Denis Cheryshev, AEK Athens star Lazaros Christodoulopoulos, and Giorgian de Arrascaeta of Cruzeiro-América in Brazil.
Others include Riley McGree of Melbourne City, World Cup winning defender, Benjamin Pavard, and Portugal attacker Ricardo Quaresma.
Salah set a new Premier League goal record at the end of last season after scoring 32 EPL goals in a single season.
His impressive performance also saw him win the PFA player of the year among several other individual awards for helping the Reds reach their first Champions League final in 11 years.
The former Chelsea and Roma star scored a total of 44 goals in all competitions for the Reds but failed to win silverware.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo tops the FIFA best 11 team for the season.
