Defending champions Real Madrid have won the trophy in three successive seasons as teams will be looking to break the monopoly of the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.

The French side's primary aim in every season is to win the Champions League title that is why players like Kylian Mbappe and Neymar were signed for respective staggering amounts.
The Parisians over the years have been getting better with the quality of their squad and they stand the chance to make the difference this season.
4. Bayern Munich
Last season, Bayern Munich were inches away in making it through to the Champions League finals but were narrowly beaten by eventual winners Real Madrid.
The Bavarians have always been one of the teams to beat in the competition and a team of such pedigree will contend for the trophy any day.
5. Juventus
Their 13-year wait for a Champions League trophy could be over after the signing the vastly experienced Cristiano Ronaldo who have five trophies to his illustrious career.
The Biaconeri have played in five different finals after wining the tournament in 1994/95 season, losing to Real Madrid on two occasions as well as Dortmund, AC Milan and Barcelona.
