Premier League campaigners, Arsenal are eyeing Lille forward Nicolas Pepe, who attracted offer from Bundesliga side Schalke in the summer transfer window.
According to a UK sun report citing sources at French channel, Le10 Sport insist the Ligue 1 side will not sanction any deal below their £30 evaluation of the 23-year-old striker.
Arsenal new manager, Unai Emery is eager to add the highly-rated forward, in the coming winter window the report further noted.
Interestingly, in the summer window, Schalke tabled a £20m offer and other incentives for Pepe but Lille reject their advances, insisting they are not ready to welcome any bid, below their £30 valuation of the forward.
In addition, Ligue 1 rivals Lyon despite closing in a deal for Pepe could not convince the Ivorian forward, to switch base.
However, with Arsenal joining the fray, the forward may fancy an adventure in the English topflight possibly with the Emirates dwellers in the coming transfer window.
Already, Arsenal eggheads have reportedly informed the Ligue 1 side of their plans for the player, if he continues to turn out decent performances during matches.
Interestingly, Pepe's current value in the market is likely to skyrocket, when Arsenal tender an official bid as more suitors will likely join the race for his signature.
