Chelsea want to reward Willian with a new two-year deal after the Brazilian rejected the chance to sign for Manchester United this summer.
Jose Mourinho was keen on signing the winger this summer but Willian was happy to stay at Stamford Bridge once Antonio Conte was sacked.
Willian turned 30 last week and ordinarily Chelsea would only offer a player of that age a one-year rolling deal.
However, the club feel Willian has shown his loyalty to the Blues and will offer him a two-year deal to extend his five-year stay in west London.
Willian has less than two years to run on his current deal and Chelsea could be forced into selling if he doesn't agree fresh terms by next summer.
The Brazil international earns around £120,000-a-week with the Blues and can expect around a 20% rise in a new deal.
Maurizio Sarri is fond of Willian and wants the club to offer him a new deal.
