While a lot of things may be in vogue and considered socially acceptable by many people in the present generation, there are still some African parents who would rather their children stick to the old ways.
A Nigerian lady revealed how her mother reacted when she dressed up in ripped jeans, a fashion trend which is common today.
In the screenshot of their conversation, the mother lambasted her daughter for wearing what she called 'nonsense'. According to her enraged mother, she didn't raise them up that way and if she (her daughter) doesn't want to end in hell, she should 'repent and burn all the useless clothes' she has as God 'passionately hates' people who dress that way.
