Arsenal are set to announce a new £60 million kit deal with adidas, double what they currently earn from their association with Puma.
According to reports, the Gunners have already agreed the five-year deal with the German clothing giants, who will replace Puma when their contract expires at the end of this season.
The reports come after persistent rumours that Arsenal were set to switch manufacturers, with club legend Ian Wright even tweeting about the deal back in June.
He said: 'So pleased adidas are back sponsoring after this coming season. Especially after seeing what Puma have come up with.'
How much are the top club's kit deals worth per year?
Manchester United: adidas - £75 million
Chelsea: Nike - £60 million
Liverpool: New Balance/Warrior Sports - £25 million
Manchester City: Nike - £41 million
Real Madrid: adidas - £74 million
Barcelona F.C: Nike - £140 million
It means that Arsenal will join Manchester United, Leicester City, Cardiff City, Fulham, Watford and Wolves as teams that would have adidas kits in the Premier League.
The deal will see Arsenal returning to the famous three stripes after a 15 year break after Nike took over from adidas in 1994.
The deal will provide Unai Emery with additional transfer funds to use next summer, as it was widely reported he was only given £70 million to work with during the current window.
