Alex Iwobi has signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal after impressing new manager Unai Emery.
The 22-year-old came through the Gunners' academy and was handed his first-team debut by Arsene Wenger nearly three years ago.
Lazio had been linked with a move for Iwobi this summer, but the Nigeria international who represented his nation at the World Cup, has committed his future to Arsenal.
According to the Daily Mirror, Iwobi's extension sees him tied down to the club until 2022. The midfielder had less than two years on his previous contract with the Gunners.
The report claims Arsenal's new head coach Emery views Iwobi as a 'key' part of his plans for the future.
It's understood that Iwobi and Arsenal have been in talks over a new contract since the end of last season.
The 22-year-old scored the winning penalty as Arsenal beat Chelsea in Dublin in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.
