Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been told he cannot leave Chelsea this summer, according to reports.
The Blues are keen to hang onto the 22-year-old after he spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace.
A string of impressive performances with the Eagles earned Loftus-Cheek a place in England's World Cup squad.
And according to The Times, Chelsea will make sure they keep hold of him this time.
Maurizio Sarri's first move as the new Blues boss was to bring in £50m midfielder Jorginho from Napoli.
That placed doubt on Loftus-Cheek's future, but it is understood he will be part of the first-team squad next season.
Many expect 2018/19 to be a breakthrough season for Loftus-Cheek at Stamford Bridge, however with the club reportedly interested in CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, it remains to be seen whether the academy product will get a regular chance.
