Chelsea are reportedly close to finally appointing former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as their new manager, and two big signings could be set to arrive with the Italian.
Reports in Italy suggest that signs are "increasingly positive" for the Blues' managerial switch, with tomorrow (July 11) being a potentially decisive day.
Jorginho plays under Sarri at Napoli
According to DiMarzio, midfield star Jorginho is proving to play a key factor in the deal as Chelsea look set to snatch him from under the nose of Manchester City.
City's pursuit of the Italian has been well reported, however a deal has not been completed and it now seems as though the Stamford Bridge side will pounce with a £57.5m deal.
It is understood that the Jorginho deal is tied in with the Sarri agreement and will be vital in persuading the club to release the manager who is still under contract.
Higuain also used to be managed by Sarri
Elsewhere, SkySport Italia claim that Chelsea in fact have two mega money new signings on their radar, with Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain also heading "towards" Stamford Bridge.
