Paris Saint-Germain have bid a world-record transfer fee as they attempt to sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Brazilian midfield ace only joined the Spanish side from Liverpool in January following a protracted £142million move, scoring 10 goals and making six assists in 22 appearances across all competitions.
Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho starred at the World Cup for Brazil and is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain.
But Mundo Deportivo in Spain suggest PSG have submitted the astonishing bid, which would represent a profit of almost £100million for Barcelona were they to accept, to one of the players' representatives.
It is, though, said LaLiga champions Barca would not accept anything under Coutinho's£353million release clause, no matter how tempting.
The midfielder was a key performer in Brazil's run to the quarter-finals at World Cup 2018, scoring three goals and outshining Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.
