Chelsea are close to signing Alisson after agreeing personal terms with the Roma goalkeeper, according to reports in Italy.
The Blues are in the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper as Thibaut Courtois has just a year remaining on his contract and has delayed signing a new deal.
The Belgium international has refused to commit to Chelsea during his nation's World Cup campaign and has repeatedly stressed that his children, who both live in Madrid, will play a large part in the decision over his future.
According to Il Tempo, Chelsea have established themselves as favourites to sign Alisson ahead of Real Madrid and have already reached an agreement with the Brazil international.
The report claims that the 25-year-old would prefer to join Chelsea, rather than stay in Rome, and has been offered a contract worth just under £100,000 a week.
Chelsea have not yet agreed a fee with Roma and the Serie A club are demanding a €75 million (£66m) for the 25-year-old.
And while Madrid are not prepared to meet Roma's valuation and will only offer €50m (£44m), Chelsea are willing to submit a bid of €73m (£64m), including bonuses.
Roma's director of football Monchi is also ready to sell Alisson and is considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Alphonse Areola as a replacement for the Brazilian.
Alisson is currently with Brazil's World Cup squad who are preparing for their quarter-final against Belgium on Friday.
