Real Madrid have released a statement refuting claims that they have agreed a €272m (£240m) deal for PSG's Kylian Mbappe.
It was reported by French media on Tuesday night that a world-record fee had been agreed between the two clubs which would see Mbappe move to Spain after just one season at the Parc des Princes.
It was said that the transfer would be paid in four payments.
However, Real Madrid published the following statement on Wednesday morning, rubbishing these reports.
"Given the information published in the last few hours regarding an alleged agreement between Real Madrid C.F. and PSG for the player Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid would like to state that it is completely false.
"Real Madrid has not made any offer to PSG or the player and condemns the spreading of this type of information that has not been proven by the parties concerned."
