Chelsea and Roma are set to go head-to-head and battle to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to Sky Sports.
The European giants both seem likely to lose their No.1 shot-stoppers this summer with Thibaut Courtois linked with a move to Real Madrid, along with Serie A ace Alisson.
And Denmark's World Cup hero, Schmeichel, is reportedly on the wishlist of both clubs were either to lose their goalkeepers in the summer transfer window.
A Premier League title winner with Leicester City in 2015/16, the 31-year-old offers plenty of experience and leadership, and has displayed his qualities at World Cup 2018 with Denmark, saving a penalty in extra-time against Croatia, and two in the ensuing shoot-out, which his nation lost 3-2.
Schmeichel has three years left on his current contract, which gives Leicester City plenty of negotiating power.
