Chelsea want to replace Thibaut Courtois with AC Milan wonderkid Gianluigi Donnarumma as they get ready to sell their Belgian star.
The 26-year-old has a year left on his contract and has made no secret of his wish to return to Spain, where his family live.
AC Milan wonderkid Gianluigi Donnarumma has already made 106 Serie A apparances and earned six Italy caps.
Courtois spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid and may now head back to LaLiga this summer, or next year on a free transfer.
And the Blues are preparing for this eventuality with by keeping a close eye on Donnnarumma, say Corriere dello Sport.
Any move though will have to wait on the current managerial situation to at Stamford Bridge to be cleared up with Antonio Conte set to be replaced by ex-Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

Courtois has made the issue surrounding his future clear and said this week: "I already have ideas in my head but I have put my decision on hold until after the World Cup.
"My children are the most important thing for me and I have had one and a half years less contact with them.
"FaceTime is beautiful but seeing them grow up is something else.
"So my children will play an important role in my decision."
