N'Golo Kante helped France beat Australia 2-1 in their World Cupopener and also sent Aaron Mooy back to Sydney.
The Chelsea midfielder enjoyed a decent game in a below-par France performance and produced a lovely moment of skill in the build-up to the match winner.
Paul Pogba's deflected effort earned France a late win, but it was Kante's magical touch that set Les Blues on their way.
Kante is on the flank with his back to the Australian goal when Mooy comes flying in to try and steal the ball.
Unfortunately for the Huddersfield midfielder, Kante controls and ball and with a subtle touch, flicks it towards him to turn and speed away.
Mooy is left attacking air and races past Kante who moves forward with the ball at his feet.
France fired themselves to the top of Group C with the win against Australia and will play again on Thursday.
Peru take on France in Ekaterinburg with the French knowing a win will set them up nicely to finish top of the group.
But, Kante will be hoping his team-mates improve their form in the second game after a lacklustre performance against Australia.
