Cristiano Ronaldo claimed the Champions League needs to be re-branded after he celebrated his fifth win in the competition following a 3-1 win over Liverpool.
The former Manchester United favourite scored twice in last year's final against Juventus and in the 2014 win over City rivals Atletico.
Ronaldo also scored the winning penalty in the 2016 shootout win over Diego Simeone's side in Milan, but had to play second fiddle to Bale in Kiev on Saturday night.
Summoned from the bench immediately after Sadio Mane's equaliser, Bale took just three minutes to make an impact, producing one of the greatest goals in Champions League history with a gravity-defying bicycle kick.
The 28-year-old then put the game beyond Liverpool's reach with seven minutes remaining when his audacious effort from 35-yards swerved and bamboozled Loris Karius.
Asked if he was disappointed not to score in the final, with Bale taking the headlines for his overhead kick, Ronaldo said: 'Who?
'Maybe the Champions League should change its name to the CR7 Champions League.
'Who has more Champions and more goals?'
