Liverpool will have the upper hand over Real Madrid when they meet in the Champions League final because Marcelo is terrified of Mohamed Salah.
That is according to Egypt legend Mohamed Aboutrika who watched Salah go toe-to-toe with Marcelo in the Olympics in Rio.
Salah has been virtually unstoppable this season in front of goal and currently has 44 goals in 51 appearances.
Liverpool head into the final in Kiev as the underdogs, but Aboutrika believes Salah's prowess could give the Reds the edge.
'Liverpool have a big chance to win the Champions League against Real Madrid,' he told beIN Sports MENA.
'I witnessed on that pitch what Salah can do to Marcelo during the Olympic Games.
'I was playing with Egypt against Brazil. Marcelo is terrified of Salah.
'I noticed the same thing in the Champions League when Roma played against Real.'
Liverpool are bidding for their sixth European title and their first since their epic 2005 triumph.
Real, however, are aiming to win their third Champions League in a row and the 13th in their history.
The La Liga giants were handed a boost this week when Dani Carvajal and Cristiano Ronaldo returned to full training.
The duo had been struggling with injuries, but are now on track to start the final against Liverpool.
