When you have scored over 500 goals in your career, it can be hard to pick a favourite.
However, there's no doubt you always remember your first.
It was on this day in 2005 that Lionel Messi scored his first LaLiga goal for Barcelona...and what a goal it was.
Already billed as the next big thing to come through La Masia, the teenager came off the bench for Samuel Eto'o in the 86th minute of a game against Albacete at the Camp Nou.
Rather than let the occasion phase him however, the forward took just three minutes to announce himself to the world.
The irrepressible Ronaldinho scooped the ball over the defence to place Messi through and, rather than panic in the face of the biggest stage of his career, he cushioned a beautiful volley over the onrushing goalkeeper.
