A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) identified as Justice was gunned down in Nekede, Imo State on Friday.
According to friends, the Federal Polytechnic Nekede graduate was shot dead by unknown gunmen at a drinking bar where he was hanging out with friends.
The deceased was undergoing his his compulsory youth Service program in Cross River State.
Update: Before his untimely death, Justice who is also alleged to be a cultist was serving in Cross River State and a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State.
He was reportedly shot in the head by six cultists while drinking a bottle of Life at a popular spot (50-50 Bar) around the Polytechnic junction. His body was said to have been deposited at Agbala morgue.
It was gathered that two out of the six cultists that carried out the operation were caught by local vigilante of a nearby village in Umuokomoche. Both cultists were said to have since been handed over to the Police at Ihiagwa Divisional Police Station.
It was also alleged that the cultists were from a rival group and might have killed Justice as a reprisal attack.
