Horror: You Won't Believe What This Man Did to His Girlfriend Just Because His Breakfast Was Not Ready

A man who got really enraged with his girlfriend just because his breakfast was not ready on time, ended up reacting in a horrific manner.

Carl Tennant is a 34-year-old man who launched a violent attack against his girlfriend when his breakfast wasn't ready.

The man has however been jailed for the act.

According to Metro UK, Carl Tennant flew into a rage last October when his partner didn't make his early morning meal, leading to him pushing her, throwing a piece of metal at her and even lifting her up by her ankles.

When he noticed she was bleeding he dragged her upstairs and threw her fully clothed into a full bathtub.

She required stitches to her forehead and had bruises on her arms and upper body, however she told hospital staff that she had fallen over.

Newcastle Crown Court heard how Tennant, 34, 'controlled almost every aspect' of his partner's life, by discouraging her from visiting her family and convincing her that her primary role in life was to care for him.

A few weeks after the initial assault Tennant attacked his partner again, promising to give her a 'broken nose for Christmas' before headbutting her in the face. It was after this attack, which happened while the victim's son was in the house, that caused her to visit a police station and report what was going on.

Tennant, from Bedlington, Northumberland, was jailed for 18 months for common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Recorder William Lowe QC told Tennant: 'I recognise you fall to be considered by me as a man of good character but your attitude towards the victim of these assaults was really appalling.
'You sought to snuff out any independence she had.'
