Barcelona forward, Neymar, has admitted he needs to learn from his sending off against Malaga, which saw him suspended for the El Clasico at Real Madrid last month.
Neymar was shown a yellow card in the first half of the game for tying his laces as Malaga tried to take a free-kick. He was then booked again for a late challenge on Diego Llorente.
The red card meant an automatic one-game suspension, but his reaction to the dismissal brought a further two-game ban.
"I harmed myself and I've learned a lot from what happened," Neymar told beIN SPORTS.
"I think the second booking was correct, it was a foul. I was trying too hard to go for the ball.
"I wasn't protesting about getting sent off for that, but because of the first yellow card. It shouldn't have been shown - it had nothing to do with the game. But I know that I have to learn from it."
