Nigerian televangelist and senior pastor of the Jesus Dominion International, Tim Omotoso has been arrested while hiding inside a female toilet at an airport in South Africa.
According to SABC News, Omotoso was said to be on the run after he was accused of molesting over 30 girls and engaging in human trafficking. The police were forced to place a manhunt on him after he disappeared.
Sources revealed that the self-professed prophet handpicked the girls and instructed them to live in his home, where he had unprotected s*x with them.
Speaking with the press yesterday, the Police Spokesperson, Lt-Col Robert Netshiunda, said the Nigerian cleric deactivated all the phones linked to him.
"We are investigating the matter and we will only lay charges after getting him," Netshiunda said.
He was successfully arrested by a team of officers in Port Elizabeth. His arrest was said to have been made possible following the delay of his flight. He had already made plans to leave the country secretly before he was tracked down hiding inside the female toilet.
He has been charged with one count of human trafficking and will appear in court soon.
