The news of MMM freezing payouts has spread even more than the news of a basket of tomato now costing less than N3000. Well, thats because of the money that people stand to loose if this is how the alleged ponzi scheme is going bite the dust.
Personally i have a feeling that MMM is finnaly dead. Ask why? Here is why.
If the administrators of MMM-Nigeria do keep to their words and reopen payouts in January, participants will not easily forget the stress they are about go through this festive season especialy those that have hoped on their payouts to buy gifts and celebrate this season.
Also, by the time the 'social financial network' does reopen in January, many people will want to withdraw their money at a go after the long wait. Considering this is a pyramid scheme, this will create a panic-withdrawal scenario where there are more people waiting to receive payments while only a few will be interested in putting their money into the system.
Panic-withdrawal will then result in lesser and lesser people showing interest since those already in it are yet to get back their pay.
I guess we all know that from lesser and lesser, it will get down to "0" participant and this will confirm that indeed, MMM is Dead.
