Security issues of data and users have been a recurring theme in recent times. Hence, the American computer professional, former Central Intelligence Agency employee, and former contractor for the United States government, Edward Snowden, shown others that how some governments can listen to citizens, without any control, the theme was released to the public square.
But Edward Snowden is committed to increasing the safety of users and therefore is working to create a cover for the iPhone dubbed as "introspection engine", that will detect when it is sending data abnormally.
It is still just an idea that goes for a prototype, but Edward Snowden wants to create a cover that detects and react whenever there is a transmission of data abnormally.
This should monitor not only sending data over Wi-Fi but also through the 3G antenna and even Bluetooth as well. Thus cover all radio signals and detect when they are not working as expected. This will cause an alarm to the user and if desired will block the transmissions, leaving the iPhone inaccessible and protected.
To achieve these readings, the American computer professional Edward Snowden cover will use the SIM card slot, so the user will be able to easily access the different antennas. For this, the card was moved to the hood and working perfectly normal.
This device is being created by the American computer professional Edward Snowden with the help of a well-known American hacker, Andrew "Bunnie" Huang, who holds a Ph.D in electrical engineering from MIT and already has a proven track record in this field. His idea is still a draft, but the paper in which they describe their ideas and conclusions of the work done so far was presented at a conference at MIT, where this concept was discussed.
Having just succeeded in materializing their ideas, the duo hopes to pass it on to production, with the certainty that all software and hardware will be open and available to all, so that they can confirm that nothing has changed.
There is still much work to be done before going to a functional prototype, but the idea of Edward Snowden and Andrew "Bunnie" Huang has everything to be a success.
