Omeruo's transfer stalls as Chelsea, Besiktas disagree
Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has not flown to Turkey to finalize his transfer with champions, Besiktas, because they have not agreed on an outright sale of the player with Chelsea.

Omeruo, who was supposed to travel to Istanbul two weeks ago, is still training with the reserve team at the Blues' Cobham training ground.

"Besiktas still want the player, but what is holding back the deal is that Chelsea want to ensure that after the season-long loan, the Turkish club will buy him on a permanent basis," a source told AfricanFootball.

"Several clubs including Celta Vigo in Spain and even Kasimpasa, where Kenneth played last season, want him on loan, but Chelsea now want to recoup their investment on the player by selling him after another season-long loan spell."

Another complication in the move, is that Besiktas will breach the UEFA Financial Fair Play rule, if they make Omeruo's transfer permanent this summer.
